Quando participei da elaboração do artigo "Lohans’ Magic Squares and the Gaussian Elimination Method" (http://www.nms.org.np/jnms/Vol_3.Issue_1.Year-2020.html) o editor perguntou a razão do título. Recentemente divulgamos o artigo "The Four Pandiagonal Magic Squares of Nagarjuna" (https://www.slideshare.net/lossian/the-four-pandiagonal-magic-squares-of-nagarjuna?qid=b0483dab-2139-403f-bab5-681cfa0dbaf6&v=&b=&from_search=11).

I had never read about the fundamentals of Buddhism. When I
participated in the writing of the article "Lohans' Magic Squares and the
Gaussian Elimination Method"
(http://www.nms.org.np/jnms/Vol_3.Issue_1.Year-2020.html) the editor asked the
reason for the title. Obviously, I understood that he would like to know the
reason for the name Lohans. This fact prompted me to want to know more about
Buddhism. We recently released the article "The Four Pandiagonal Magic
Squares of Nagarjuna" (https://www.slideshare.net/lossian/the-four-pandiagonal-magic-squares-of-nagarjuna?qid=b0483dab-2139-403f-bab5-
681cfa0dbaf6 & v = & b = & from_search = 11). In it we present
evidence that Nagarjuna, with a very high probability, may have known the four
pandiagonal magic squares that we present in that text. Yesterday we were
surprised by the fact that these four magic squares, when seen as points in R ^
16, form a tetrahedron with edges of lengths 4, 4 * 8, 2 * (70 ^ 1/2) and 2 *
(70 ^ 1 /2). And we also read that in the Mahayana Buddhism of Nagarjuna the
numbers 4 and 8 play a fundamental role. Our research, Buddhism and the
research of the mathematician Nagarjuna identifying himself! Was it all
coincidence? I believe that the analysis of the connections between the music
of the places where Nagarjuna lived in the second century of the Christian era
and the magic squares can answer our questions. We ask Buddhist musicians around the world for help in resolving these issues.
