This is the method that most naturally generalizes the Luo Shu to any order n=2k+1 (k, non-negative natural number), generating a magic square of order n, L(n). The internal non-normal magic squares of L(n), of orders s (0<s<n+1), are concentric and their totals are equal to the product of their order and the arithmetic mean (n^2+1)/2 of the n^2 numbers that form L(n). In other words: TOTAL IN ORDER s = s X ((n^2+1)/2). This makes L(n) an addition table. Sums of numbers, and in quantities that we cannot even imagine, are already calculated in these L(n).
